Learning From My Betting Failures

I have been wagering on the net or at brick and mortar gambling dens for a good many years. I have found out, the habit usually will acquire a hold of you and you won’t even notice it up till you are beaten. Markedly if you are on a scoring streak. I have gone through uncounted tens of thousands of dollars in only a short period of time and at times, I can go too long. It feels like you are just enjoying yourself up till you choose to pay attention to your losses and the anguish settles in, and of course you continue telling yourself "I can earn it back" ad nauseam. It does not work. Then you feel queasy in your gut and the more you try the more rapidly you lose.

When you see that you are up, STAY Ahead! When you begin to relinquish, don’t convince yourself, "well only one more" over and over again, trust me, this tactic RARELY ever operates. Say you plan on playing on one armed bandits, keep a pot separate before beginning your gambling. DON’T go over that threshold, regardless of how appealing. If you happen to earn, put that in an alternate canister. Do not bet your winnings regardless of what happens. Once you have wagered through your original predetermined cutoff, stop. Back off, regardless if it’s online or in a real life casino, don’t stick around. Make sure to remember, there will be other days, another time. Clearly, this scheme can work for any game that you enjoy, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, 21 or any other casino game.

Remember, betting should be FUN not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If you cannot manage the squanderings, don’t ever start.
